Cleveland Firefighter’s Union Urges City to Accept S.A.F.E.R. Grant

The City of Cleveland has been awarded a $4.5 million FEMA grant (S.A.F.E.R.) to prevent the layoffs of 51 firefighters in the Cleveland Fire Department. Cleveland Firefighters, Local 93 rallied on the steps of City Hall in support of the grant urging elected officials to accept the S.A.F.E.R. award. For more on the S.A.F.E.R. grant click here.
